Beware The Ides of March

In this case it is a depressing thought that March will be here soon and still no luck on the job front. The Favourite I was pursuing before and after Christmas never happened, then the favourite I was following in January seems to vanished in a puff of smoke as well.
Currently I am looking at the possibility of retraining but here is the problem; I can't do anything full time (training wise) as I need to have a job very soon. Also, what do I go for if the retraining is supposed to earn me a job. The two favourites at the moment and Computer Forensics or C# Programming.
The forensics sounds more fun, but may not translate into a job at the end of it.
Of course, the same is true of the programming as most companies want experienced programmers.
